Ingredients

2 large onions

4 garlic cloves

8 tbsp olive oil

4 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

2 lbs raw shrimp

2 cups white wine

6 sprigs parsley, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Finely chop onions and garlic; cook in oil until limp.

Step 2

Skin tomatoes and cut into small cubes. Stir into the onion-garlic mixture along with salt and sugar.

Step 3

Cook slowly for ~15 minutes. Step 4 Meanwhile, peel the shrimp. Bring the wine to a boil in a pot, add the peeled shrimp, and cook slowly for ~5 minutes.

Step 4

Mix shrimp combo with the tomato sauce, and the chopped parsley, and cook for ~10 minutes longer.

Step 5

Cook 1½ pounds of spaghetti (or any pasta you like!).

Step 6

Add sauce over the cooked pasta and serve hot.
