Ingredients
¼ cup butter
½ cup onion, chopped
¼ cup flour
2½ cups milk
3½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded
2 oz cream cheese
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp paprika
¼ tsp garlic powder
2 cups broccoli florets, chopped
3 cups cooked rice
3 cups cooked chicken, chopped
1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
Preparation
Step 1
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Cook the onions until translucent, then add the flour and mix well.
Step 2
Add the milk to the pot and whisk until thickened. Add the cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and seasonings. Mix well.
Step 3
Add the broccoli, chicken, and rice. Mix well and pour into a 9” x 13” baking dish. Top with the crushed crackers and bake at 375-degrees for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
