Ingredients
4 lbs lean spareribs
1½ cups beer
½ cup honey
¾ tsp dry mustard
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp sage
1½ tsp salt
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1
Place the ribs in a large, shallow glass baking dish.
Step 2
Combine all ingredients and pour over the ribs. Refrigerate for 24 hours, turning the ribs occasionally.
Step 3
Lift ribs from the marinade, reserving the liquid, and add them to a baking tray or broiler pan.
Step 4
Bake at 350-degrees for 1.5 hours or until tender. Step 5 Baste frequently with beer-honey sauce.
