Ingredients
½ cup margarine, softened
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup peanut butter
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 cup quick cooking oats
1 cup flour
Preparation
Step 1
Cream together the margarine, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and ½ cup peanut butter.
Step 2
Add the baking soda, salt, vanilla, oats, and flour to the mixture and blend thoroughly.
Step 3
Pour mixture in a greased 13” x 9” pan. Bake at 350-degrees for 18-20 minutes.
Step 4
When baked, top with ½ cup peanut butter and ¾ small bag of chocolate chips. Spread this over the top as it melts. Set aside to cool.
Step 5
Once cool, cut into small squares or rectangles and serve.
