Ingredients

½ cup butter

3 oz package cream cheese

1 cup pastry flour

2 tbsp cream Jelly of your choice

1 egg, beaten

~¼ cup powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and cheese together until well mixed. Add flour to the mixture and cream.

Step 2

Turn onto a floured board and roll thin. Cut out shapes with cookie cutter(s), wet the edges with cold water.

Step 3

Add a dollop of jelly to the center of each cookie and fold over. Brush each cookie with egg and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Step 4

Bake cookies at 425-degrees for 15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
