Ingredients
8 oz block cream cheese, softened
2 cups sour cream
1 packet taco seasoning
1 cup salsa
1 cup cheddar cheese
1½ cups shredded lettuce
½ cup olives, pitted and sliced (optional)
4 oz can green chilies, drained (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, cream the cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning. Spread this in an even layer across the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 2
Layer the salsa across the mixture. Top the salsa with an even layer of cheese, then a layer of lettuce. If using, sprinkle olives and green chilies over the top or the lettuce. Top with a layer of crushed Doritos or tortilla chips.
Step 3
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until cool.
